The frame, rotor and spool are made of high-strength, corrosion-resistant aluminum and the waterproof progressive drag protects your fighting in any conditions. The 4508 SW size is for fishing large sea bass, bluefish and barracuda and various inshore spinning applications (beach/coast spinning). the Sakura Alpax SW 6008 and 8508 models have a reinforced axle and pinch roller and a foolproof locked anti-reverse system. To wit, these saltwater reels have been successfully tested on the Indian Ocean facing tuna Skipjacks, Snapper and even sailfish up to 40lb. The reinforced carbon clutch discs also resist powerful tuna hits in this weight range very well.
