The Labrax XX was designed and conceived to work alongside its younger sister Labrax and manage even large prey with heavier lures.
The barrel is made up of a "stick" that joins the handle with a precise off-set joint, a feature that enhances its qualities of sensitivity and robustness.
The components include eight Fuji "K" series rings with a "gunsmoke" finish steel frame and SIC stone, starting from a 30 double bridge and scaling with the other rings all in single bridge, to then close the series with a measuring apex #8.
The mixed scheme guarantees maximum robustness where the rod is most subject to impacts and stresses and gives the system full maneuverability and manageability of the bait.
The handle, cared for and finished, is made up of high density EVA grips, well proportioned to each other and the Fuji "Deluxe" series plate number 18 with safety lock nut to guarantee a stable and safe tightening.
The sober and refined style that distinguishes Seaspin rods can also be found on this model with a "natural graphite" finish and black bindings edged with Red and Silver metal wire to recall the red XX logo.
The rod, sensitive, reactive, powerful and precise, has a wide and progressive curve suitable for safely managing and taming large marine predators both from land and from the boat.
The stability of the rear part is surprising which, subjected to maximum effort, remains very high and stable, providing maximum support to counteract the outbursts of large fish and thus making it not at all demanding from a physical point of view.
It is able to cast baits of various weights and densities really “long”.
Precisely because of its versatility, we recommend the Labrax XX for fishing from the boat on baitfish, bluefish, bonito, dolphinfish but also for the inshore search for lecce, snapper, barracuda and medium-sized amberjacks with the use of artificial baits up to 65 grams approximately.
From land, in addition to classic spinning applications, with long jerk, poppers and wtd, it has also proven to be excellent as a shore jigging rod with metal jigs weighing up to 70 grams
